Software Validation Engineer

A global leader in medical devices is in need of a Software Validation Engineer. The company, located in Minnesota, employs 7,000 people in the U.S., Mexico, and Italy. In order to remain competitive the company utilizes its highly skilled employees to excel in developing devices used during intensive care, surgery, and post operative surgery.

The Software Validation Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

- Develop, write, execute, and validate tests
- Write Software Validation test procedures
- Write software design requirements
- Write software unit test procedures
- Conduct dry run testing and formal testing
- Document/analyze behaviors and results to present to line management
- Write and debug code
- Attend project team meetings

The Software Validation Engineer must meet the following requirements:

- B.S. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5-7 years software design/test experience
- Experience in the medical device industry
- Team oriented

OR

- Masters in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 2-4 years software design/test experience
- Experience in medical device industry
- Team Oriented

This is a 6 month contract, $35-$45/hour (negotiable).
