Software Tooling Factory Consultant (Brussels)

Je functie: Context
In the context of the fast evolution of distributed (java/.Net) development technologies and tools, we are looking for a Software Tooling Factory consultant. He/she will work on the different tracks to make evolving the existing tooling factory towards a model in line with the state-of-the-art software development tools, software testing tools, technologies and processes. He/she will also provide support to our clients on the different tools.
The Software Tooling Factory consultant will be part of the IT Web Framework & Devops Tooling Factory team

Function Description
The mission will be to work in the project team that builds and maintains a tooling factory for the java, android, IOS, HTML5/JS platforms, meaning:
° Installation of the tools.
° Customizations and configuration of the tools.
° Interconnection of the tools in the factory
° Elaboration of standards and guidelines if necessary
° Elaboration of installation guides
A part of the mission will also consist in providing support to our clients and fixing incidents on the tools. Standby slots outside of business hours (evenings and week-ends) can be part of the mission too.

The toolset covers :
° development tools
° continuous build and continuous integration tools
° code scanning tools (quality / security)
° testing tools (unit testing, test automation, performance testing, test management)

Je profiel: Required knowledge / Experience

Education
Master or equivalent by experience

Languages Requirement
Very good knowledge of English. French and/or Dutch is an important plus for interactions with clients, co-workers and external partners.

Experience
° A few years of experience in Agile software development factories

Technical Experience
° Experience in java development tools (SVN, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins Enterprise, JIRA)
° Experience on Windows platforms
° Experience on Linux platforms
° Good understanding of Agile
° Experience in code scanning tools (Sonar / Fortify) is a plus
° Experience in mobile development tools for Android and IOS platform is a plus
° Experience in open source testing tools (JUnit, Selenium, JMeter, Soap-UI) is a plus
° Experience in HTML5/JavaScript development tools is a plus
° Experience in HP testing tools (Quality Center, Load runner, UFT) is a plus

Business Experience
Preferable
Banking knowledge or experience is a plus.
Experience in large IT organization
