Role: Software Tester/DBA
Location: Dublin
Duration: 12 months
Rate: DOE
Our client are a leading multinational telecommunications company who are looking for a tester who also has database administration skills to come in and join a dynamic and growing team. You will be responsible for the design and development of the test plans, test cases and the environment for testing high performance, scalable and reliable software products/systems.
You will have a knowledge of both functional and non-functional test techniques too and should also have experience installing and maintaining Oracle databases.
Performance monitoring and creating backups of the database will also be involved.
You will have -
Past experience within a Quality Assurance test environment
Exposure to full life cycle testing.
Working knowledge of the testing tools
Knowledge and experience on Linux & Windows.
Experience with Application & Web Application testing
Good Oracle DBA skills
An advantage - Operating experience on CENTOS and Solaris
