Software Tester - Navigation (m/f)

Harvey Nash are a global Professional Services provider in the areas of Technology and Engineering Recruitment and Outsourcing. For our client, a global Automotive company focussing on Navigation Systems we are looking for a Software tester. (f/m)

PROJECT START: 01.03.2015

PROJECT LENGTH: 8 Months++

Contract Type: Limited Permanent Contract through Nash Direct

LOCATION : Braunschweig

RESPONSIBILITIES :

-Manual Testing, Test Automation, Test Reporting
-Analysis of system requirements, test specifications and test procedures
-Define and install test environment
-Execute all manual (in-office and field) test activities (at various national & international locations)
-Analysis of test results (manual & field tests), active communication of defects (defect tracking)
-Verification of bug fixes
-Exchange of test activities with development teams of navigation core technology and cross project test activities
-Ensure test activities to be in time and on budget

KNOW HOW:

-Excellent analytical skills, knowledge of navigation system tests.
-Knowledge of defect tracking systems (e.g. JIRA)
-Knowledge of requirements engineering, test design & specifications, defect management and documentation
-Ability to understand complex software

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

-Automotive software development / Automotive SPICE
-In-car infotainment / navigation systems
-Automotive Infotainment / Navigation know-how

LANGUAGES :

-Very good English is required for team communication and documentation. German would be very beneficial to application
