Software Tester (ERP Systems/General Ledger)

SOFTWARE TESTER (ERP SYSTEMS/GENERAL LEDGER), DUBLIN, 4 MONTH CONTRACT

Vantage Resources are currently seeking an experienced Software Tester for an Initial 4 month contract based in Dublin.

SOFTWARE TESTER (ERP SYSTEMS/GENERAL LEDGER)

Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Test Software Tester in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Experience with Oracle ERP systems (General Ledger) or Financial Account systems is required for this position.

JOB TITLE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our client is looking for an experienced software tester with proven exposure to Financial accounts system (specifically General Ledger). Financial services experience is not essential, but testing on an accounts platform is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Define and execute the Test Plan and Approach for assigned projects
- Report on test progress
- Manage internal stakeholders and communicate with internal business users
- Defect management, ensuring suitable resolutions are obtained
- Vendor management

REQUIRED:

- ISEB or ISTQB certification
- Finance and supply chain business process testing
- Previous experience of General Ledger or Financial account system
- Exposure to Financial systems
- Exposure to ERP systems

DESIRABLE:

- Strong customer facing skills
