Software Tester - Edinburgh (UAT, Manual Test)

A growing software company who specialise in developing software solutions for the financial sector are currently in the market looking for a UAT tester who has vast experience in Software Testing and ideally some systems testing experience. They are a .Net house and you would ideally have tested applications built in .Net, C#, Entity Framework, Silverlight, etc. You will be part of a small close-knit team of 7 developers, so you will need to be able to work as part of a team, but as you will be the only tester, you must be able to think on your feet and show initiative. You will need to be a proven UAT (manual) software tester, and you must be able to interview in the next week. The key skills you will require are: - Software Testing (.Net, C#, Silverlight, WPF, Entity Framework, etc) - UAT Testing - Systems Testing experience (desirable) You will be testing user products and you must have a keen eye for detail.
