DESCRIPTION: INDIVIDUAL WILL WORK AS PART OF A TEAM TO TEST DESKTOP SOFTWARE PATCHES AND SOFTWARE RELEASES.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Proven ability to work effectively as an individual and member of a technical team to support Windows Desktop platforms as well as End-User Devices (PDAs, Hand-held Scanners, etc.).
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Installer Technology such as MSI Packaging, Application Repackaging, Transforms (MST), Patches and Upgrades.
Experience deploying and testing highly complex software installation packages for functionality, compliance and integration, verifying that the .MSI is operating correctly and can be installed, repaired and uninstalled.
Demonstrated ability to build, manage, troubleshoot, and when necessary, restore Windows desktop deployment issues in a fast pace structured environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to business clients with limited to no technical background.
Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical staff, and work successfully within technical teams.
