Software Test Technician Job

JUNIOR MANUAL SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN needed for a six (6) month CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Sunnyvale, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Junior Manual Software QA will be PERFORMING BASIC ANALYSIS, EXECUTION, AND REVIEW OF SOFTWARE TEST PROTOCOLS in the Software Quality department, used in manufacture of medical devices.
- Junior Manual Software QA will PARTICIPATE IN THE EXECUTION OF TEST PROTOCOLS, ACCORDING TO SOPS.
- Junior Manual Software QA will record, report, and TRACK DEFECTS TO ACCURATELY DEPICT the status of their software testing
- Junior Manual Software QA will CREATE TEST PLANS, TEST REQUIREMENTS, TEST SCENARIOS, and test data for use during the functional and system test phases of the software development process for new and existing applications
- Junior Manual Software QA will ensure that test plans and scenarios fully exercise every aspect of the product.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BA/BS or graduate degree
- Two (2+) years of experience as a software QA (manual, automation, etc)
- Knowledge of the entire software development process (SDLC).
- BASIC SCRIPTING AND QUERY KNOWLEDGE
- Good understanding of the fundamentals of web architectures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A SOFTWARE TESTER IN A MEDICAL DEVICES COMPANY
