SOFTWARE TEST/QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER - GALWAY, IRELAND - 12MTH FTC - INTERNATIONAL SOFTWARE COMPANY
SALARY IS DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE LEVEL. CAN RANGE FROM €40,000 - €45,000
The role involves programming, testing (automation) and documenting the development of the Datacenter Care Pricing
Application. You will work as part of a team using agile software development processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares test framework and test plans in conjunction with the requirements of the Product Owner and the
- development team
- Writes high quality code to perform automated functional tests on customer requirements
- Performs software engineering activities ie application design, implementation, test and validation using
- appropriate languages
- Participates in scrum planning and demo reviews and daily standups.
- Develops test framework and test cases and collaborates with development operations to crate a Continuous Integration environment for test automation.
- Build regression and acceptance and test case maintenance and support.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience
- Automation of functional and acceptance tests as part of an agile team
- Expertise in multiple software systems design tools and languages.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Designing software systems running on multiple platform types
- Software systems development and testing using agile methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.
