Software Test Lead - Contract - Eindhoven.

Our high profile Eindhoven client is seeking an experienced Software Test Lead to join their team. Working on market leading technology, you will have the experience and skills to manage the test effort with a scrum/project team, in conjunction with the developers and the testers.

- Experience with managing test teams and/or projects, in a scrum based way of working
- Effectively design test cases, execute tests and to communicate found problems to developers and other test engineers.
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Knowledge of the Linux and Android operating systems, knowledge of (automated) test tools and Scripting languages like Python. Knowledge oriented programming languages like C++ and JAVA is recommended
- Experience with test automation is a plus
- ISTQB foundation' qualification and/or experience with T-map.
- Fluent English
- Being able to work on a Bachelor level or higher, preferably with a background in IT or electrotechnical engineering

The role will involve:

Organize and manage testing within a project/scrum team; in accordance with procedure and strategy
Provide consistent reporting on SW quality and progress, following predefined guidelines and KPIs
Design and execute test scenarios based on requirements and feedback from developers. These test scenarios can be manual or automated. In case the tests are automated the available test framework(s) should be used
Maintain traceability to relevant requirements and user stories
Reporting and communicating test results and found problems in a clear an unambiguous manner
Failure analysis and reproduction of known problems
Reviewing of test cases and requirements, you will be extensively involved in the review process
