SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER (SDET/QA) ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's LIFE SCIENCES client located in San Diego, CA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Software Test Engineer will WRITE AND EXECUTE MANUAL TESTS FOR CLOUD SYSTEMS AND WEB APPLICATIONS.
- Software test engineer will DEVELOP AND EXECUTE AUTOMATED AND UNIT TESTS.
- Software test engineer will carefully analyze and report test results.
- Software test engineer will assist software developers and domain experts in designing, performing, and improving verification tests.
- Software test engineer will work with scientists, technicians, engineers, marketing, and project management to deliver commercial and internal S/W systems.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- FOUR (4+) YEARS' DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE IN AT LEAST ONE PROGRAMMING OR SCRIPTING LANGUAGE, SUCH AS C#, JAVA, VBSCRIPTS
- Experience working in Software Quality Assurance and/or other areas of the SDLC to TEST WEB APPLICATIONS, BOTH FRONT AND BACK END
- Experience authoring automated web tests using frameworks/tools, such as Test Studio, TestComplete
- Familiarity with web services and cloud testing
- Familiarity of the underlying architecture of multi-tiered browser-based applications, including HTML, JavaScript, operating systems, networking, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and web browsers.
