Software Test Engineer for Ecommerce

SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER FOR ECOMMERCE REDMOND, WA 12 MONTH CONTRACT

This role requires a very experienced Functional Tester with experience in web testing and E-commerce. Strong troubleshooters and problem solvers with some White Box testing skills will be preferred. S/He needs to be able to work effectively in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong communication skills are a must. This candidate must collaborate effectively with others and demonstrate flexibility and creativity in delivering best-in-class results for our client s high-visibility online store. Previous experience working with localized software or content is highly desirable. Some technical skills involving high-level programming languages and databases is also preferable.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

- At least 5 years of testing experience
- At least 2 years of web testing experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong, demonstrable Functional Testing skills (Black Box, grey box, and White Box)
- Previous experience working in an Agile methodology
- Strong test planning skills
- Team player with a highly collaborative work style
- Dependable, self-starter who can deliver under pressure

NICE TO HAVE FOR THIS ROLE:

- Previous E-commerce experience
- Previous localization testing experience
- Test Lead experience
- Demonstrable programming skills in C# or Java
- Some work experience with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, ASP, XML/SOAP, etc.)
- Database skills (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience working on E-commerce solutions
- Previous work experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Previous work experience testing on mobile devices
