Software Test Co-Ordinator/Lead - Dublin Contract

SOFTWARE TEST CO-ORDINATOR/LEAD - FINANCIAL SERVICES - DUBLIN CONTRACT

My Client is based within the Financial Services space in Dublin City Centre. They are looking for a Test Lead/Co-ordinator for an initial 6mth daily rate contract.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

To have responsibility for the co-ordination of all test activities for the project.
Analyse Functional Specifications and requirements to write test cases and create test data
Responsible for co-ordinating the overall testing effort and deliverables within the project. This encompasses the testing of core functionality, defect fixes, regression and change requests.
To prepare an overall testing schedule that feeds into the Project Manager's project plan.
To report directly to the Test Manager and project governance on test progress and quality for the project.
Coordinate all test planning and execution activities undertaken by the test team.
Coordinate reviews of test plans/test scripts and track output of reviews to completion.
Provide HP Quality Centre (HPQC) training to the test team.
Ensure adherence to test project governance and reporting processes within programme/project

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED INCLUDES:

5-6+ years experience as Test lead/Co-ordinator
Experience working within banking or financial services
Exposure to Financial control functions and reporting
Experience of co-ordinating a user group engaged in testing
Working knowledge of SQL and experience of manipulating database tables
Strong functional test experience
Understanding of test management and defect tracking tools - ideally HP Quality Centre
Production of quality documentation to support the quality assurance and test processes
Experience of troubleshooting and analysing issues.
Test & Defect Reporting based on industry best practice
