Software / Systems Implementation Engineer - DV Cleared

We currently have a requirement for a Software / Systems Implementation Engineer to work on an exciting new 4 month contract role with one of our leading clients. Candidates will require DV clearance and this role will be based in the area of Gloucestershire.

Job Description

*Owning the Level 4 Design for the Project
*Developing the baseline Level 4 Design to encompass a broader and deeper set of system perspectives. Including, extending to niche operational contexts within the client and elaborating extant detail in areas such as resilience.
*Technical liaison with Systems Engineers on infrastructure issues. Ensuring that the Level 4 Design for the project is congruent with the designs.
*Technical liaison with the SDA and Systems Engineer on structure and content of Systems Engineering assets. Products are predominantly to meet their needs.
*Keeping the Development Team appraised of System Engineering issues on a regular basis. Including delivery of awareness raising events where practicable.
*In partnership with the Development Team, aligning User Stories with the Designs. Considering how implementation constraints might influence the Design.
*Implementing and maintaining a level of traceability, agreed with the SDA and Systems Engineer, between the various Levels of Design.
*Helping the SDA and Systems Engineer to elaborate aspects of the design through facilitated workshops, white papers, technical reach back etc.

Skills and Experience

*Developed stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills. Objective and focussed.
*A broad understanding of Software Engineering, covering architecture and implementation aspects. Full Software
*Development lifecycle.
*Significant experience of 'Software' Systems Engineering.
*Familiarity with common sub systems such as Authentication, Auditing and Database Administration
*Familiarity with common implementation patterns such as Model, View, Controller and (ideally web application stacks based on Linux, Apache, MySQL and Python).
*Able to operate in Agile environment, delivering capability
