We are looking for an individual to assist in the transition from one email spam solution to ProofPoint Enterprise Detection. The ideal candidate would be well-versed with the ProofPoint Suite of products. She/He should also be able to communicate well both written and verbally. This individual will be interfacing with the associate community to assist them in the transition to the new tool.

EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in technical writing, specifically documenting technical configuration and troubleshooting information
- Exceptional customer service skills
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology with increasing responsibilities
- Microsoft Exchange 2010, ProofPoint Enterprise Detection with F-Secure Virus Protection - Virtual Spam Detection, F-Secure Virus Protection, Zero-Hour Anti-Virus, ProofPoint Dynamic Reputation, Smart Search, Virtual Edition Technology
- Ability to script common and repeatable tasks
- Ability to quickly learn organizational structure, business strategies and processes
- Proactive approach to improving the environment
- 5 to 7 years customer service related experience required
- Experience with VMware, VMware converter, and Windows Administration skillsets
- Experience with Server 2000, 2003, 2008 and 2012 operating systems
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable on business process modelling, process mapping
- Capable of writing clear and well-structured business requirements documents
- Ability to work independently and manage one time
- Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
- Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and Internet directory services software

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contribute to the development of detailed level process maps to facilitate requirements gathering, gap analysis and for training use.
- Identify and analyze business problems and defines the scope of activities required to address the issues, including requirement definition, process review, impact assessment and operational streamlining where appropriate.
- Be involved in all aspects of projects, including documentation of project needs, analysis/research of needs and possible solutions, identifying technology and business solutions, gathering, documenting and updating business requirements; reviewing workflow process mapping; developing business testing strategies and working with project members to execute the test plan, recommending preferred solutions, and implementing recommendations.
- Manage project documentation (implementation plan, issues log, process maps, etc.) and documents process flows and gaps.
- Assess, research, analyze and document sponsor/stakeholder needs.
- Support the Project Manager in planning, executing, controlling and closing phases.
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with business partners and internal/external team members.
- Identify issues and escalate/manage resolution as required.
- Coordinate and provide support to the business with the process implementation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
