Software Security Engineer

Our client is one of the world's leading financial services seeking an experienced IT SECURITY ENGINEER for a premium contract opportunity. This candidate will engineer, configure and deploy IBM InfoSphere Guardium Database Monitoring solutions.

OVERVIEW

- Engineers, configures and deploys IBM InfoSphere Guardium Database Monitoring solutions
- Develops advanced scripts for manipulation of multiple data repositories to support analyst requirements
- Develops advanced reports to meet the requirements of key stakeholders
- Develops scalable security management tools and processes
- Develops automation for security tools management
- Enhances technical skills and actively participates in the performance management process
- Develops and builds relationships throughout the organization
- Develops effective leadership and teamwork skills
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop specific use cases to address specific business needs

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 5 years of software/database security experience
- 3+ years of experience deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining security management database security tools
- Must have experience using IBM InfoSphere Guardium
- Experience in database security and administration in Oracle, MySQL/SQL, DB2
- Advanced knowledge of content creation concepts and best practices
- Must have database administration skills, system administration skills
- Experience using Scripting languages automate tasks and manipulate data
- Programming experience a plus
- System administration experience in a Windows and Unix environment
- Experience working in a large enterprise environment
- Experience integrating solutions in a multi-vendor environment
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information security, or information systems
- Preferred certifications include: CISSP, SANS GCIA, CCMSE NGX, RHCE, ITIL, and vendor specific certifications
- Background in a financial environment a plus

Duration of assignment is 6 months to a year with possibility of conversion.
