Software Quality Engineer (f/m)

Currently we are looking for a Software Quality Engineer (f/m) for an interesting project.

Responsibilities:
+ Train and support software staff in projects in understanding and using the defined organizational development process
+ Develop and maintain the software quality assurance plan for a development project
+ Use methodical and repeatable processes to verify releases meet quality standards before launch
+ Apply quality engineering principles throughout the product life cycle to identify defects, their causes and remeditive actions
+ Execute project audits to independently report about the software quality status in a project, both internally (project team) and externally (optionally to customers)
+ Participate in cross-project quality team to define and evaluate quality (improvement) goals.

Qualification:
+ Master or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
+ Knowledge of (software) quality standards and processes (e.g., Automotive SPICE, CMMI, ISO/TS 16949, MISRA)
+ Knowledge of quality techniques and tools (e.g., reviews, FMEA, static code analysis)
+ Profound experience in the development of embedded systems

Experience:
+ Experience in the development of embedded systems in at least 2 different project roles (minimum: 5 years)
+ Experience in (software) quality assurance (minimum: 2 years)
+ Experience with collecting and analyzing software metrics (minimum: 2 years)
+ Familiarity with development and defect tracking tools such as JIRA is preferred
