Software Quality Engineer

Our client is the leading computer manufacturing company seeking a skilled Software Quality Engineer for a premium contract opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Test Plan Development to include, creating, adding, deleting, and updating
- Test Case Development to include, creating, adding, deleting, and updating
- Validating functionality of software by:
- Test plan execution
- Perform ad hoc testing
- Perform regression testing
- Verification of documented issues as fixed
- Perform limited high value point testing of emerging functionally
- Maintain test infrastructure such as:
- Maintain target platforms
- Perform recovery and setup of platforms
- Perform network troubleshooting and implement fixes as needed
- Documentation of efforts:
- Provide documentation on infrastructure setup and Best Known Methods
- Provide documentation of found issues
- Provide documentation of test tools and uses
- Provide document issues with BIOS/KSC/ME found while testing
- Automating test case development in PowerShell/Python
- Debugging automation and ensuring stable automation for QE team
- Test Platform build up and maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of related work experience
- Experience working with Intel Architecture required
- Experience with Software Test Methodologies
- Experience with owning test plans - writing test cases, continuously updating, etc.
- Experience with Windows Networking
- Experience in Scripting test cases in PowerShell/Python
- Experience in debugging automated test cases

- Huge plus: Advanced Network knowledge
- Huge plus: Web Services knowledge
- Nice to have: C++/C#
