SOFTWARE QA VALIDATION ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Sunnyvale, CA.

- Python/Shell Scripting
- Mobile device validation
- Test Automation

What You'll Be Doing:
- Software QA Validation Engineer will operate test systems and ensure that they are properly maintained.
- Software QA Validation Engineer will execute test plans, provide log files, work with developers and operate automated tests with Python/Shell Scripts and/or application-specific test automation tools.
- Software QA Validation Engineer will work with cross-functional groups look for potential software failures and vulnerabilities.
- Software QA Validation Engineer will drive the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BS in EE, CS or related subject matter
- Three (3) plus years professional experience with testing
- Strong knowledge of Python or Shell Scripting
- Mobile devices testing/validation experience
- Experience as part of a test team
- Understanding of software development practices, including revision control and defect classification
- Strong knowledge of QA concepts and methodology.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Android device testing/validation
- Experience with Linux OS - user level
