Software Quality Assurance Engineer Job

SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Mateo, CA.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- API tests cases for C# and JavaScript API conformance.
- C# API to simulate user scenarios
- Test Automation using in-house tools and Python programming
- Performance and stress test cases and perform manual testing
- Manual and automated test execution, defect management & test reporting.
- Four (4) years of working experience with strong knowledge in QA processes and standards

What You'll Be Doing:
- Software QA Engineer will be working on Mono and JavaScript Core virtual machines conformance and functionality testing on devices which includes:
- Working with development team to plan test activities and define test strategy
- Identify test cases and write test specification
- Develop API tests cases for C# and JavaScript API conformance.
- Identify functionality, performance and stress test cases and perform manual testing
- Develop test samples using C# API to simulate user scenarios
- Test Automation using in-house tools and Python programming
- Manual and automated test execution, defect management and test reporting.
- Manage Continuous Integration System

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Four (4) years of working experience with strong knowledge in QA processes and standards
- At least two (2) years of experience in C# programming or API testing
- At least one (1) year of experience in Java Scripting
- At least one (1) year of experience in test automation using any Scripting or programming languages
- Knowledge in Python
- Knowledge in C++ programming
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience in C++ programming
- At least one (1) year of experience in Python
- Experience in managing any continuous integration build system.
- Knowledge in mono virtual machine.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
