Software QA Engineer - Equities Exchange - £60-70K

Leading Equities Exchange is seeking to expand its IT Group by hiring a Software QA Engineer.

This is a highly technical role, focused on enhancing their automated test framework and the creation of automated test cases to support new development.

The successful applicant will be THE point of contact for all QA matters in London. You will work very closely with the developers and the Head of Software.

The role will require you to develop and improve their proprietary automation test framework, including the automation test cases. You will test and validate new features, identify and report issues, and look for ways to make improvements.

To be successful in your application, you must have:

* A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar subject.

* A strong technical background in QA, with experience creating automation test frameworks and test cases.

* Commercial experience with a scripting language, preferably Python.

* SQL experience

Previous experience working in financial markets is advantageous.

This is a permanent position based in their offices in the City, London, paying £60-70K for the right candidate.
