Due to increase in work load a household branded company is looking for an immediate Software Project Manager to be based in West Yorkshire. Contract duration will be initially 3 months with extensions. You will have a strong software delivery background and experience of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
The projects will require overall project management, eg stakeholder management, planning, finances. All of the projects are running using Agile to varying degrees, so the client is looking for the candidate to help improve the Agile maturity on their projects. This would involve working as Scrum Master initially, although it may be feasible to bring other team members into that role.
The successful candidate would also be expected to help in the department wide discussions/changes on improving project management processes and maturing the overall Agile delivery capability.
