Medical Services Ltd is the leading independent provider of patient transport services to the NHS & private healthcare sector. 

We are looking to recruit a Software Projeect Manager to deliver the interface between the systems within an expected time frame and on budget. You will be responsible for the project management of new systems interfaces between Cleric APTS and several NHS clinical systems, eg PAS, ePR, etc. Some of the projects are full life cycle, whilst others are starting at differing project stages.

Main duties and Responsibilities

- To proactively manage projects on a day to day basis
- Prepare realistic and achievable project plans
- Actively monitor and progress project actions, mitigating project r risks, issues and dependencies
- To maintain good project communication with all stakeholders
- To effectively negotiate with project stakeholders
- To effectively plan and schedule project resources and ensure they are delivered to time and budget
- Ensure the project scope is well defined and deliverables are clear and unambiguous.
- Prepare project status reports to internal and external stakeholders
- To maintain a good working relationship with all stakeholders and suppliers.
- Effectively manage changes to the project through an agreed change process
- Track and Report project time spent, highlighting deviations from agreed tolerance
- Track and Report project costs, highlighting deviations from agreed tolerance
- Ensure effective project conclusion, including handover to operational support, and ensure lessons learned are recorded.

General

- To ensure that statutory regulations and organisational policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
- To act at all times in a manner consistent with legislation, policy and procedures in respect of Equality and Diversity
- To work to the values of the organisation and display high standards of integrity and professionalism towards clients and colleagues
- To continuously develop and update own knowledge and skills within the job role and contribute to setting own work objectives.
- To undertake any other duties relevant to the post as may be assigned from time to time which are consistent with the post.

You must work within the confines of the said and stated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). In addition the post holder must ensure that the above responsibilities are met and such other duties and tasks as are allocated at the discretion of the Company are within the post holder's capabilities and within the scope of the post.  The organisation reserves the right to review the post holders' performance on a regular basis and it expected that unless prevented by ill health the post holder will devote the whole of their working time attention and abilities to the business of the organisation.
