SOFTWARE PROGRAMMER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Tarrytown, NY.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Development and design of Client Server software modules and protocols/APIs which acts as glue to integrate medical devices and systems, including Bluetooth enabled medical devices, mobile device applications and other cloud enabled applications.
- Design and implement, a robust, scalable data access service Back End, DB, web interface and define a robust client interface to be used by smart devices and PCs.
- Design and Setup of Virtual network with multiple subnets to isolate different application environments.
- Setup NAT (Network address translation) device configuration for Private Subnets.
- Fine grain implementation of software Firewall Security Group.
- Authentication Service Setup for VM access AD configuration, Management VMs configurations, SSL configuration.
- Configuration management tool - Puppet setup, Manifests to automate Application installation, AD (Active Directory) integration & Configuration
- VM Provisioning and life cycle management API Integration - Cloud Service Provider dependent.
- Cloud Environment Support:
- DR (Disaster Recover) planning and strategy.
- Service Availability and Monitoring
- OS Patch Management
- Support for Application Upgrades
- Implementation of Failover solutions for the Cloud infrastructure.
- Provide detailed input to R&D team members regarding the technical feasibility of proposed designs, technical risks, and potential mitigation strategies.
- Conceptual design and subsequent development of feasibility prototypes of system features and technology.
- Logistical and operational decision making and supervision.
- Deliver software solutions in support of full life cycle implementation of software products and systems utilizing a structured, documented software development process and generally accepted software engineering methods.
- Requirements specification and protocol API creation and subsequent maintenance of technical documentation in support of Medical Care quality system and process requirements.
- Active participation in product development by providing/reviewing specification and risk assessment

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, with 8 plus years of experience, or MS with 6 plus years of experience
- Proven prior experience in developing cloud based software systems
- Experience with 3rd party service hosting, localization, load balancing.
- Experience with Server Side Scripting.
- Experience with Puppet Server/Agent.
- Manifests for hardening Operating System & Platform (IIS server).
- IIS App, IIS web, cache, queue and Database Server Setup
- Knowledge of Jenkins setupJ2W: ENG
