Performance Engineer will provide benchmark measurements on various platforms as well as analyze and report the results, as well as acquire and compile new benchmarks

JOB DUTIES:
Working as part of a small team with heavy emphasis on Linux based development. This includes implementation of device drivers and developing libraries for in C and Python for audio, video, DDR memory and other standard parallel/serial busses. Position also provides opportunity to develop application level software and scripts in Python and Bash.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study
- 5+ years experience in C programming
- Fluency in C and/or C++ and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Knowledge of computer architecture
- Familiarity with benchmarks and computer performance evaluation methods
- Software development skills
- Strong proficiency with Linux operating system
- Proficiency with Python and Bash Scripting
- Solid understanding of circuit and device fundamentals
- Experience with driver level software development
- Strong proficiency with Object Oriented coding methodology
- Ability to function in a team environment

BONUS SKILLS:

- Fair amount of low-level and hardware experience
- Familiarity with TCP/IP and communication protocols
- Experience in developing safe multi-threaded applications
- Bios level OS experience
- Experience with network switching/routing methodologies
- Driver development experience for devices like USB, PCI, SDIO, SATA etc.
- C# optional but preferred
