SOFTWARE PACKAGERS needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- As part of the Client Packaging and Delivery team, you will be responsible for Windows desktop software standards and ensuring high standards of quality are achieved through technical and practical expertise in desktop software automation.
- Ensuring a supportable desktop environment for optimal end-user productivity.
- Work on exciting projects as the Client Packaging and Delivery team has a key role in the upgrade of the desktop environment to Windows 7 and delivering virtual applications using Microsoft Application Virtualization and SCCM 2012.
- Work in Systems Engineering disciplines such as UNIX, AS400, Windows, Middleware, Storage, Reporting, Packaging, and Database Administration.
- Be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting components of our systems infrastructure.
- Evaluates and integrates software and hardware requests.
- Play a key role in providing resolution to system issues ensuring the availability and continuity of infrastructure resources.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors' degree from a 4 year college or university in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent formal technical education and 3-5 years of related experience.
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and advanced system administration of MS Windows environments.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years professional experience with Windows Installer and Microsoft SCCM 2007.
- Knowledge of or experience with Microsoft SCCM 2012 a plus.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience with software packaging tools such as Wise Package Studio, Symantec Admin Studio or Install Shield, etc.
- Must have experience with developing and delivering applications virtually using MS Application Sequencer and Application Virtualization Streaming Server.
- Experience with XenApp is a plus.
- Must be able to troubleshoot life cycle of deployment process, including analysing packaging issues and distribution failures.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong Scripting skills.
- Excellent testing skills required to validate software packages and the impact of their installation on the target platform.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess exceptional work ethic and positive attitude.
