Software Packager - Contract - Ghent

The assistant will be part of the software packaging team within the WPI organization (Workplace Infrastructure)

This team is responsible for the packaging of all the software for Workstation and Server environment.

Responsibilities:

- The employee will be deployed in the full packaging- and distribution process
- Analysis of the application,
- To package Software (Wise AdminStudio)
- Perform the quality control and supervision of the functional tests
- Third level incidents of workplace
- Scripting
- Document
- Communicate with stakeholders (IT, business, end users, suppliers)

The work includes both operational tasks such as project work (to participate in migrations, new technologies, new target platforms, developing new working methods)

An integration into the Watch-keeping (4 to 5 weeks per year) is possible.

Technical skills:

Extensive experience in IT

Thorough Windows knowledge required

Thorough Msi technology knowledge required

Extensive experience in software packaging

Knowledge Scripting (PowerShell)

Experience System Center Configuration Manager and/or System Center Suite

Experience Wise with AdminStudio

Experience Windows 7/Windows 10

Experience programming in .Net

Personal skills:

Communicative, can work well in teams

Independent able to work and have enough sense of responsibility

Driven to make deliveries on time

Flexible to take on new tasks and priorities

Mother tongue/fluent in Dutch

Preferably live in East and West Flanders or have a sufficiently smooth route to Ghent
