Software License Consultant

For our international client in The Hague we are looking for a Software License Consultant

Location: The Hague
Start: 1-10-2014
End: 31-3-2015 (with option to extend)
Hourly rate: euro;55

Project Description:
To be part of the team that manages software licenses for the IT application portfolio.

Manage processes to identify any high risk with license compliance gaps in the portfolio in scope.
Ensure license entitlement information are captured, stored & traceable across IT & Purchasing systems
Maintain effective stakeholder relationships with the central Software License Management team and the Portfolio & Program Managers.
Support the Service Delivery Manager and Component Landscape Managers for Global
License & Application Services as subject matter expertise for continuous improvement of processes & tooling.
Ensuring that SLM processes which are implemented are adhered to by the relevant stakeholders.
Advising stakeholders on the applicable SLM processes.
Identifying and drive opportunities for improvements, including license optimisation and cost savings.

Technical Skills:
Experience understanding and interpreting commercial contracts underpinning purchases of software licenses in scope
Experience collecting, maintaining and evergreening entitlement information in Software Asset Management tools (preferably, Flexera FNMP)
Experience performing regular compliance audits to identify any high risk compliance gaps in the portfolio in scope
Experience leading compliance remediation activities to address any compliance gaps that the aforementioned audits highlighted
Skilled at process and data analysis
