For our client, a global company that provides a portfolio of IT services, software, and technology with a major project in the financial sector, we are currently looking for a Software Licence Manager (m/f) on a permanent basis.

Contract: Permanent

Background:
As a Software Licence Manager, you will apply your understanding of software license models and IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) practices, to translate the license tracking needs into processes - the objective being to monitor and enforce corporate compliance with software licenses, and optimize asset value.

Tasks:
- Proactive collaboration with Sourcing, Vendor and Business Management, technology

groups, Acquisition / Divestiture team, and Business representatives
- Communicate and translate complex license requirements into meaningful written and verbal communication for various audiences - business users, technologists, and management
- monitor and enforce corporate compliance with software licenses, and optimize asset value
- Serve as a mentor to emerging License Associates and Specialists
- understand, assess and define ITAM / SAM into business strategy

Skills:
- at least 3 years experience in Software Licensing
- Project management skills (certifications highly desirable)
- Experience with IT Service Tools (e.g.HP Service Manager)
- technical understanding of operation systems inter-networking and new computing architectures
- Ability to assess the inter-relationship of software entitlement models, business and product uses, and technology implementations
- IT Asset and Software Asset Management Process and ITIL processes
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Nice to have: German
