Software Graphics Test Engineer

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER to join our client in Folsom, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Software Test Engineer will be responsible for BUILDING AND CONFIGURING A FRESH OPERATING SYSTEM LOAD.
- Software Test Engineer will BUILD AND DEBUG GRAPHICS DRIVERS.
- Software Test Engineer will run a variety of manual or automated operations on Media and Video PC products and carry over the debug of these tests.
- Software Test Engineer will be responsible for making important distinctions between hardware and software related failures and then documenting test results in a timely manner.
- Software Test Engineer will be responsible for helping determine overall health and release readiness of products under test.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

- A.S/B.S. in ECE, EE or related subjects.
- Visual Studio and windows debug knowledge.
- C++, Scripting
- Python.
- Extensive experience with debugging and Windbg, Microsoft* debug tools.
- Understanding of modern PC architecture.
- PC Graphics Driver Experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Graphics architecture knowledge. Logical analyzer, o-scope knowledge.
- RTL/VSLI experience.
- Familiarity of HW/SW debug utilities.
