Software Governance Consultant

We are looking for a Software Governance Consultant in OH

Location: Cincinnati 

Duration: 6 months

Start: 1 -2 weeks

Knowledge and experience in general computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet.  Experience must be at the level of an Intermediate User .

Possess the competency of an Intermediate User in Microsoft Excel.  Competency in such things as sorting, filtering, use of formulas, use of pivot tables is required.

Possess the competency of an Intermediate User in Microsoft Access.  Competency in suchthings as sorting, filtering, running macros, importing, and exporting of data is required.

Clearly communicate in English, verbal & written, and able to develop relationships.  Ability to gather information from differing stakeholders, globally.  Ability to put self in position of requester to anticipate what they would need to hear/read.

Support resource will be balancing many business operations.  Project management and strong organizational skills will be required to properly balance.  The business process also spans several organizations, which add complexity to the process. Resource will be expected to set timelines, schedule and conducting meetings, set milestones, track and report progress

Resources & requesters in many functions have strong opinions and may be resistant to change.  Requesters may be disgruntled with the current process or that their software is taking too long. Resource must know how to communicate effectively so that situation does not become hostile.

Ability to balance many responsibilities and deliverables

Must have worked in a service industry or demonstrate ability to respond to customers.

Strongly desired resource who has certification from an industry standard organization in software asset management, or who has previously worked in the Software Governance space.

Resource with Business Administration, Operations Mgt, Industrial Engineering degrees and/or experience a plus.  SAM will be additional advantage.
