For a project at our banking client site in Zurich we are looking for several experienced

SOFTWARE/FINANCIAL ENGINEERS - C#, .NET, JAVASCRIPT & VB6 SKILLS (3826)

The successful candidates will be assigned to several internal projects to support the banks in-house application in the investment area. The ideal candidates bring SOLID SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SKILLS PAIRED WITH QUANTITATIVE FINANCIAL ENGINEERING SKILLS.

MUST-HAVE SOFTWARE ENGINEERING SKILLS:

- UP-TO-DATE DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF OBJECT ORIENTED SOFTWARE AND DESIGN SKILLS WITH AN ESTABLISHED TRACK RECORD OF DEVELOPMENT IN AN OO LANGUAGE
- PROFICIENT IN C# AND BACKED UP BY A DEMONSTRABLE REFERENCE SHOWING THIS PROFICIENCY
- FINANCIAL BACKGROUND AND DATABASE KNOWLEDGE IS A MUST HAVE
- PROACTIVE INDEPENDENT ENGINEER
- Additional skills in JavaScript and HTML5 would be advantageous
- Designing and building complex Graphical User Interfaces and with INTERACTIVE VISUALIZATION CHARTING COMPONENTS
- Knowledge of VB6/VBA: Must be able to step through and understand VB6/VBA code
- Database expertise especially handling of financial data eg time series
- Building complex publication ready customizable reports and documents
- Solid grasp of automating with the MS Office Object Model (EXCEL, ACCESS, POWERPOINT)
- Know-how of Mathematical tools - eg Matlab, R and numerical libraries eg Nag
- Proven problem solving skills with ability to plan resources and control activities
- Familiarity with market data systems
- Fluent in English, written and spoken

MUST-HAVE FINANCIAL ENGINEERING SKILLS:

- Quantitative finance, Financial engineering
- Knowledge of portfolio construction and analytics
- Portfolio Risk analysis
- Monte Carlo Simulation
