Software Engineer with Investnet

For my large banking client based in Zurich, Switzerland we are looking for a:

SOFTWARE ENGINEER WITH INVESTNET EXPERIENCE

ROLE OVERVIEW

The goal of the MiFID 2 program is to efficiently integrate new regulatory requirements into tour client application landscape. As a software engineer in the Advisory Minutes stream you will be responsible to implement the MiFID 2 requirements into the strategic INVESTnet web application.

KEY DELIVERABLES

- Analysis, design, implementation and unit testing of JEE software components for the MiFID 2 project.
- Implementation of UI components with Java Server Faces.
- Refactoring and extending the existing INVESTnet application.
- Active participation on code reviews and other quality assurance actions.
- Adhere to the Credit Suisse IT Solution Delivery Policies and other relevant regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES

- Expert knowledge of Java EE application development (OO-Design, Java, J2EE-Architecture, JPA, Unix, Oracle DB).
- Experience in Java Server Faces.
- Proven design or architecture experience.
- Proven experience on large projects, large systems, with large throughput, high performance.
- Knowledge and comprehension of common design patterns.
- Experience of best-practices in a Java development environment (test-driven development, continuous integration, source code control)
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt
- A self-starter, being able to take ownership of tasks at short-notice, and push them to delivery.
- Experience in a banking environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills (English and ideally German).
- PREVIOUS INVESTNET EXPERIENCE IS A BIG PLUS!
