Software Engineer Windows Tablets

Our client is the leading computer components company seeking a Software Engineer/SDET to provide Image Quality tuning (color and other parameters) and testing for Embedded cameras in SOC based Windows tablets. Creating and evaluating metrics for camera ISP and sensor image quality using IQ tools. Define lab requirements and setup equipment. Develop tools and automation for sensor IQ testing in Windows 8.

Daily Responsibilities:

- Test and debug the development team's deliverables.
- Maintain and develop new tests and test infrastructure.
- Report results for Image quality measurements.

Required Qualifications:

- 2-5 years camera image quality tuning and testing experience
- Experience on image tuning for Embedded cameras (tablets)
- Experience in Windows operating system
- Debug and investigate image quality issues with developers
- Create and report metrics for Image Quality measurements.
- Experience with one image quality test tool (eg Imatest )
- C/C++ programming

Nice to Have:

- Understanding camera sensor for tablets and familiarity with image processing are preferred
- Knowledge of Windows drivers and Experience in tuning 3A algorithm and ISP a plus
- Automation skills

Estimated length of assignment: 52 weeks with approval every 13 weeks
