Software Engineer/Web Specialist

SolTech is seeking a Software Engineer/Web Specialist to play a key role in the development products targeted at the rich media market. This will be a demanding position, but will afford the candidate the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting, leading edge technology in the industry.

Job Responsibilities

- Display exceptional problem solving and resolution skills
- Utilize ASP.NET MVC, C# and other relevant technologies to complete daily development tasks
- Work in an agile development environment
- Create web user interfaces for various products

Required Skills

- 5+ years programming experience in C#, Java or C++
- 3+ years experience with C#
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years experience with automated unit testing (NUnit or any xUnit variant)
- 2+ years with agile development processes (Scrum, XP)
- Experience with source control systems (Sourcesafe, CVS, Subversion, Perforce)

Web Specialty Required Skills

- 3+ years using ASP.NET/AJAX
- Experience building RESTful HTTP-based APIs
- 3+ years using Javascript
- Experience with CSS, XHTML, SML and JSON
