Software Engineer - Test

Yoh has a (12) month contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER - TEST to join our client in San Jose, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Software Engineer will be responsible for developing media test applications (in Windows and Linux) to validate media graphics drivers in C/C++.
- Software Engineer will be responsible for running a variety of manual OR AUTOMATED OPERATIONS ON MEDIA AND VIDEO PC products and carry over the DEBUG of these tests.
- Software Engineer will be responsible for making important distinctions between hardware and software related failures and then DOCUMENTING TEST RESULTS in a timely manner.
- Software Engineer will be responsible for helping determine overall health and release readiness of products under test.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in ECE, EE or related subjects.
- Five to seven (5-7) years experience with C/C++ software systems development.
- Experience with Windbg, Microsoft* debug tools, and understanding of modern PC design.
- Experience with Video technology/Video Compression protocols.
