Must have skills:
Candidates must have web application development with MVC experience. Experience with web services SOAP and RESTful also required. 8-10 years of experience with Java and J2EE required along with 6 years of experience designing and developing Java and J2EE applications. Must have a quality resume, not just key words plugged in. Experience with TOMCAT, JBOSS and/or Agile would be a plus.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 70% of this role will be coding and 30% will be cross functionality with a team of PMs, QMs, and CMs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Design and development of various services by leveraging J2EE and open source technologies
- Design and develop technical solutions given complex business requirements and problems
- Design and develop enterprise web services and applications
- Develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems using J2EE and open source technologies
- Responsible for testing and defining service level testing methodologies of Java services on Spring Framework on tomcat server
- Able to analyze different technical specification from different business partners and vendors or business analysts, design or/and develop parsers for these modules

QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS in computer science + 8-10 years experience designing and developing Java and J2EE applications
- (or) MS in Computer Science from an accredited university + 6+ years experience designing and developing Java and J2EE based web applications and services
- Expertise in web services SOAP and RESTful
- Experience with most common web application Servers like Web Sphere and TOMCAT
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within team, product owners and cross functional team
- Solid understanding of agile development principles, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to design solutions for multiple product requirements
