For our client, a global Automotive company focusing on Navigation Software we are looking for 3 Software Engineers with Robotics background on a freelance basis (f/m)

Project Start: 1st May 2018

Project duration: 31.12.18

Location: Braunschweig

Languages: English Fluency is Mandatory.

Tasks:

* Develop autonomous driving software components as a member of an agile development team

* Writing software requirements

* Aligning of architectural aspects

* Development of project specific

* Performing tests on development level in simulation environment and test car

Skills:

* Experience in ROS Development

* Good overview about existing open-source ROS modules

* Good understanding in performance critical development (management of big data volume)

* Experience with Linux, Mac OS X or Windows OS.

* Know-how in 3D visualization in ROS

* Knowledge of agile development processes (Scrum/Kanban)

* Nice to have: Experience with Driver Assistance system components and architectures relevant for realizing autonomous driving: Grid map fusion, Kalman filter fusion, vehicle motion models, trajectory planning

Languages:

Written and spoken English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English
