Software Engineer - Networking Protocol Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER - NETWORKING PROTOCOL to join our client in Hillsboro, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Software Engineer will be primarily focused on software development in C++ and/or Java for laptops, desktops and tablets.
- Software Engineer will focus on designing, developing/coding, and debugging Windows and/or Android network stack interfacing applications.
- Software Engineer will also be responsible for reviewing and providing strong feedback on product software architecture specifications and design specifications
- Software Engineer will also develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment, and formal software process

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST have minimum of the following:

- Five (5) plus years of experience in C++ and object-oriented development.
- Three (3) plus years of experience in Java and object-oriented development.
- Three (3) plus years of experience with HTTPS protocol development.
- Three (3) plus years of experience developing and interfacing with REST APIs.
- Three (3) plus years of experience with network transport protocols.
- One (1) plus year experience with cloud-based application development.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Android driver and Kernel-level development.
- Windows WDM application software programming experience.
- SDK and API definition and implementation.
