MUST HAVE SKILLS: Candidates must have a BS or MS in Computer Science along with 8+ years of experience developing web and Back End applications in various capacities and 6+ years in hands-on software development. Candidates must also have experience with C#, ASP .NET, Web Services and be fluent with Transact SQL.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate will work with eCommerce and mobile payment platforms and will lead efforts to design and implement various aspects of the global transaction processing systems. The candidate must be self-motivated and function as a technical leader across multiple development teams

As a qualified candidate, you must be self-motivated and capable of functioning as a technical leader across multiple development teams. You are an excellent verbal and written communicator. As a member of an Agile/Scrum team, you participate in the full software development life cycle from analysis to release.

OVERVIEW:

- Decompose large requirements into reusable components that scale to serve hundreds of thousands of customers or process millions of transactions.
- Aggressively drive stories from concept to acceptance.
- Write code from Back End business logic all the way to the presentation layer.
- Write and debug stored procedures and understand performance issues.
- Debug problems with and without presence of debugging tools, ie using log files, event logs, etc.
- Participate with QA to design and implement acceptance tests.

REQUIREMENTS:

- BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
- 8+ years developing mission critical web and Back End applications in various capacities (individual contributor, lead, etc.) with 6+ years in hands-on software development
- Strong OO design skills
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Fluency in C#, ASP.NET, WCF
- Experience with C++ a big plus (ability to read code and diagnose problems)
- Fluency in Transact SQL with ability to write and debug stored procedures and understand performance issues
- Understanding of XML, XPATH and XSLT
- Understanding of JavaScript and client side frameworks
- Strong debugging skills
