SOFTWARE ENGINEER - MEMORY SUBSYSTEMS needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client in Portland, OR.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Software Engineer - memory will focus on memory subsystem architecture and performance evaluation.
- Software Engineer will work on developing and improving simulators and related software tools to model system behavior and project the performance of future computer memory systems.
- Software Engineer will work on architecture tradeoff studies, memory controller design and memory device requirements.
- Software Engineer will support and enable teams in sales, marketing and development to define memory products and Library IP capabilities and solutions.
- Software Engineer will drive architecture tradeoff studies, memory controller design and memory device requirements, focusing on controller and device behavior for a novel memory technology.
- Software Engineer will also develop system models, evaluate memory system performance and influence hardware or software design.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BS in EE/CS/CE AND five (5+) years professional experience
- Experience in DEVELOP MODELS AND EVALUATION TOOLS IN C/C++, SYSTEM C AND SIMILAR ENVIRONMENTS
- Experience in circuit simulations for memory and analog circuit design expertise
- Experience in memory providers and memory compilers
- Experience in analytical circuit modelling to predict memory macro area/power/speed for design configurations
- Understanding of Library IP development on leading edge Si technologies
- Knowledge of industry standard views released in standard cell libraries.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, EE or related subject matter
