Software Engineer - MBD - Aviation

Software Engineers required for a leading Aviation company based in Cheltenham to be involved in all aspects of the V software life cycle of a Model Based Design (MBD) DO178B program. You will be involved with Helicopter Cockpit Display Systems development ranging from requirements capture right through to Validation, Verification & Test.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

- Requirements capture
- Design & development
- Requirements based testing
- Low level test
- Integration test

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

- Experience of SCADE/VAPS/UML Model Based Design (SCADE of most interest).
- Full Software Lifecycle Development experience
- Working to DO-178B safety standards is highly desirable but not essential
- Experience of developing safety critical software in a high integrity environment
- DOORS - Requirements capture, analysis and management experience
- Previous experience working on displays or Avionic Systems is desirable but not essential
- Configuration control/management
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexible, hard working and professional attitude
- Proactive, personable and innovative
- IDU - Integrated Display Units experience is highly desirable but not essential
- 10x8 Displays development experience is highly desirable but not essential
- ISIS - Integrated Standby Instrument System experience is highly desirable but not essential
