Software Engineer Job

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SANTA CLARA CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and/or Rich Communication Services (RCS) development

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Be part of a group to develop and integrate IMS and RCS software for Windows phone and tablet platforms.
- Ramp up quickly on requirements, architecture, test environment and tools
- Develop IMS software
- Integrate and validate software subsystems to ensure they satisfy system level functional requirements and use cases
- Debug and triage defects found in software bring-up and validation
- Work with teams locally and around the world
- Platform level Power and Performance measurement and optimization

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Candidate must possess a BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Communication Technology or Electronics.
- Two (2) plus years professional programming experience in C/C++ on Windows platforms
- Two (2) plus years professional programming experience in MFC
- Three (3) plus years of experience in Wireless technologies (WiFi, 3G/LTE, IMS/RCS)
- Experience with Windows Visual Studio
- Strong debugging and problem solving skills in C/C++/MFC on Windows
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle, Object-Oriented Design and Development
- Experience developing software products targeted for Windows OSes (Win7/Win8.x)
- IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) or Rich Communication Services (RCS) experience
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
