SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Mateo, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Familiarity with the requirements of sound design and media production.
- Basic knowledge of acoustics and psychoacoustics
- Digital Signal Processing algorithm development and programming.
- Mathematical and numerical programming

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Integrating new audio technologies into existing code bases.
- Systems level programming and debugging.
- Implementing audio signal processing algorithms.
- Researching and prototyping new audio technologies.
- Developing novel signal processing algorithms.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Numerical programming.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Systems level programming and debugging C and C++ - Code efficiency, performance optimization
- Knowledge of relevant technologies in consumer electronics and the computer game industry.
- Self-motivation, manage their own programming schedules and contribute to the development of new theories and methods

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Understand large and complex code bases.
- Advanced knowledge of audio, signal processing, acoustics, psychoacoustics and electronics.
- Ability to learn what is needed and gets things done promptly.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with C and C++ programming.
