Software Engineer Java Wanted

We are currently looking for a Seoftware design engineer for one of our high tech clients in the Eindhoven area, the Netherlands.

Job Mission
Introduce a new machine platform in standard tool, allow integrated diagnostics for a scanner plus source assembly.

Job Description
Update existing Java tool (large code base) to support new machine platforms, GUI and data management changes
-Database knowledge considered a large pro
-Design and implement updates to data visualization tools as GTV. The current version of the tool is in Matlab.
-Trace Definition, Java tool. Small updates to small existing code base
-Experience with software development, the complete V model from design to test documents (test specification and reports)
-Accepts that existing design documents are not always present or outdated, keen to verify current situation in code and with experts. Write low level design specifications. Build understanding of current software architecture and improve documentation, implementation in Java.

Education
Bachelor/Master level.

Experience
We are looking for a Java programmer with 4+ years of experience, Matlab knowledge considered a plus.
