SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER LONGMONT, CO 12 MONTH CONTRACT

In this position you will be developing management utilities, user interfaces, APIs and Middleware for our high-visibility clients next-generation server and work station platforms.

Responsibilities will include developing command line user interfaces, standards-based and proprietary storage management APIs and utilities. Development will be done in C and C++ as well as open web-standard development environments for Windows, Linux, VMware, and other Unix-based server operating systems.

NECESSARY SKILLS (MUST HAVE):

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years industry experience
- 3+ years experience developing storage-related software for enterprise storage products based on RAID technology desired
- 3+ years experience developing C, C++ command-line interfaces required
- 5-7 years overall experience level required
- Experience developing storage management interfaces such as SMI-S/CIM and developing enterprise storage management frameworks such as Tivoli Storage Manager desirable
