Software Engineer/Integrator

SOFTWARE ENGINEER/INTEGRATOR

Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.

We are looking for a Software Engineer/Integrator for a 6 months contract role.

Job description and Main objectives:

- Deployment und Continuous Integration
- Planning and coordinating to all Test-environments and to the Production
- Configuration- and Release-Management and responsible for Release Rollouts to the Production
- Single Point of Contact for application- and test-teams

Responsibilities and tasks:

- implementation of Build-Process
- set up Continuous Integration infrastructure, onboard projects on Continuous Integration
- Deployment of components/applications into all test environments up to Production
- Monitoring and supporting all test environments up to Production
- test support (automatic sanity checks, verification of the deployment)
- management of the different environments (IT, PTA), database (Oracle on JAP)
- management of CR (change requests on SwanXP and SNOW)
- Support during build failures (research, environment update)
- Setup and maintenance of local deployments (WLS-Installations, eg CRMNET)
- Create and maintain Deployment packages
- JAP updates on ET-Unix server
- Contribution in server setup, failover concept, operational manual and System Specification
- Monitor testing for IT/PTA/PROD
- Maintaining and supporting repositories like CVS, SVN. Project related maintenance (eg remove or move of projects)
- Managing and supporting Sharepoint, create and maintain Sharepoint repositories and subsites

Skills and Experience

- university degree in computer science or equivalent higher education
- banking experience
- Very good skills in: JAVA, J2EE, UNIX (Admin)
- Deployment and Continuous Integration (TeamCity), Maven, SVN, CVS, Sharepoint, Oracle DB, DB2, MQ,
- Good German and very good English skills, both oral and written (writing technical texts, presentation proof).

Contractor tenure: 6 months (initially)
