Software Engineer III

Yoh has a (12) month opportunity for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER III to join our client in Melbourne, FL.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research, design, and development of computer software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development.
- Utilizing the application of the principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Consults with electrical or mechanical engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements of the overall system.
- Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming and documentation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree would be preferred but is not required (if the individual has the required skill set)
- Programming languages C and Java
- Experience developing in C, Java, and Object Oriented Design including working knowledge of standard libraries and design patterns.
- Experience with software development methodologies and cycles: Specifications, design, implementation and testing. Familiarization with UML and Use Case design techniques are beneficial.
- Good grasp of debugging skills
- Experience on Unix and/or Linux OS
- Expertise in data structures and algorithms. Previous ground system development and/or mission planning experience would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle routine tasks.
