Randstad IT Professionals is actively looking for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER for one of our major clients in the banking environment.

Production Support

- Monitoring of production processes in a Real Time transaction processing application ( 3rd Party )
- Participation in the processes Incident-, Change-, Release- and Problem Mgmt.
- Creation of database query
- Tracking and updating of existing documentation
- Executing from end- users, respectively 2nd level support requests

ENGINEERING & IMPLEMENTATION WITHIN THE COMPETENCE OF

- Participation in projects
- Analyze customer needs
- Development/discharge of solution proposals ( concept/evaluation )
- Development of technical specifications
- Parameters and customization of the application ( s) ( 3rd party ) and interfaces
- Define and implement monitoring/adjusting
- Participation in the processes change, release Mgmt
- Testing and introduction of new functionalities
- Documentation ( operation manual, technical specifications, etc. )

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

- University degree in computer science ( or equivalent )
- IT experience in the financial services sector > 10 years
- Very good knowledge of Unix ( Solaris) > 8 years
- Very good knowledge of Linux
- Very good knowledge of programming on Oracle SQL
