SOFTWARE-ENGINEER ETL/DWH

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, Implementation and maintenance of ODI code generators to support efficient ETL implementation within the DWH area
- Developing SQL code generators to build the semantic layer on top of the 3NF core DWH model
- Perform mass updates on technical mappings from source system to DWH
- Supports developers in data integration issues
- 2nd Level Support for developed software components

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent ETL design and implementation know how with Oracle ODI
- Excellent know how of ODI (API and internal structures)
- Excellent database know how with Oracle (PL/SQL) and preferable also with Teradata
- Practical experience in implementing frameworks and code generators
- Excellent SQL-know how
- Good Java skills
- More than 5 years of experience within DWH area (temporal data management, layer architecture, metadata)
- Ability to work on an UNIX (Linux) and Windows environment
- good knowledge of software design methods and techniques
- good communication/presentation skills to educate others in applying the frameworks/generators
- good analytical skills (analyze specifications and translate requirements to task specifications)
- acts largely self-reliant within the components he/she is responsible for
- ability to organize himself
- good command of English

Place of Work: Vienna

Scope of Work: 5 Days a week - Full Time

Start: mid of June 2014

End: Contract duration planned until 31.12.2014
